A website result or quote request is not a completed purchase. Product, fitment, price, taxes, fees, availability, payment, and delivery terms are confirmed in writing before an order is accepted.
These policies are designed to make Vektor Performance transactions clear and consistent. They do not replace mandatory Ontario or Canadian consumer rights, and they should be reviewed by a qualified Ontario lawyer for the business's specific operations.
1. Business identity and scope
This website is operated by Vektor Performance, a sole proprietorship based in Pickering, Ontario, Canada. These policies apply to this website, vehicle and VIN searches, tire information, quote requests, confirmed sales, local pickup, shipping, and related customer communications.
Contact: info@vektorperformance.ca or (289) 204-4448. Additional supplier information and the applicable transaction details will be provided on the written quote or invoice.
2. Acceptance and order documents
Using the website means you accept the website-use and privacy portions of these policies. A purchase is governed by the version provided or linked before the order is confirmed, together with the written quote, invoice, product warranty, and any clearly disclosed sale-specific terms.
If documents conflict, mandatory law applies first, followed by the written invoice or order confirmation, then these policies. Nothing here removes a right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
3. Searches, quotes, and order acceptance
A website search, fitment result, inventory label, quote request, reference number, or email acknowledgement is not an accepted order and does not reserve inventory. An order is accepted only when Vektor Performance confirms the product, fitment, total price, taxes, fees, pickup or delivery terms, and any required payment or deposit in writing.
Quotes expire on the date stated or, if no date is stated, after seven calendar days. We may correct an obvious typographical, pricing, description, or availability error before accepting an order. We will not substitute a product or increase an accepted price without obtaining the customer's agreement, except as permitted by law.
4. Inventory, descriptions, and images
“Available,” “available to order,” and similar wording means availability must still be confirmed. Distributor and supplier inventory can change without notice. Images may be representative, and tread pattern, sidewall markings, country of manufacture, production date, packaging, and minor specifications may vary by size or production run.
The manufacturer's current specification and the written order confirmation control. If the requested product becomes unavailable before acceptance, we may offer an alternative for approval or cancel the unaccepted request without obligation.
5. Pricing, taxes, and environmental fees
Unless stated otherwise, all amounts are in Canadian dollars. Applicable HST, tire stewardship or environmental fees, shipping, installation, balancing, disposal, storage, and other disclosed charges are additional. The full amount payable will be shown before the order is confirmed.
Website content is not a price guarantee. Prices may change with supplier cost, exchange rates, freight, duties, rebates, or availability until an order is accepted.
6. Vehicle information and tire fitment
Customers must provide accurate year, make, model, trim, drivetrain, VIN when used, current tire size, wheel size, and all relevant modifications. Automated vehicle, VIN, and fitment data is an identification aid and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. It does not replace a physical inspection or the vehicle manufacturer's placard and specifications.
Final fitment must confirm tire size, wheel dimensions and offset, bolt pattern, centre bore, load index, speed rating, load range, inflation requirements, clearance, TPMS compatibility, axle pairing, and vehicle-manufacturer requirements. Do not install or use a product that appears incorrect. Contact us before mounting.
7. Payment, deposits, and fraud checks
Accepted payment methods and any deposit will be disclosed before confirmation. A deposit may be required to secure inventory or place a special order. Deposits are applied to the purchase price. If a disclosed deposit is non-refundable after supplier commitment, that condition will be stated in writing before payment and remains subject to mandatory consumer law.
We may delay acceptance, request identity or payment verification, limit quantities, or cancel a transaction where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, payment reversal, pricing abuse, unlawful activity, or supplier error.
8. Special orders and cancellations
Special-order products are sourced for a specific customer or vehicle. After the supplier order has been placed, cancellation or change may be refused or may require payment of non-recoverable supplier, freight, currency, and handling costs that were disclosed or can be reasonably documented.
Special-order, custom, discontinued, clearance, racing-use, mounted, or customer-specified products may be final sale when clearly identified before purchase, except where cancellation, refund, warranty, or other rights apply by law. Contact us immediately if a change is needed.
9. Returns, exchanges, and restocking
Return authorization is required before sending or bringing back a product. Unless the written sale terms state otherwise, a standard-stock tire may be considered for return within 14 calendar days after pickup or delivery if it is unused, unmounted, undamaged, unaltered, clean, and in resalable condition with all labels and packaging.
Approved discretionary returns may be subject to a 25% restocking fee plus non-refundable inbound or outbound freight. Products that have been mounted, installed, driven on, damaged, improperly stored, altered, used in competition, ordered with incorrect customer-supplied information, or returned without authorization are not eligible for a discretionary return.
These limits do not apply where the product is defective, misrepresented, supplied contrary to the accepted agreement, or where a refund, cancellation, repair, replacement, or other remedy is required by applicable law.
10. Pickup, inspection, shipping, and risk
Pickup location, appointment details, shipping method, charges, and estimated timing will be stated in the quote. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Weather, carriers, suppliers, customs, and other events outside reasonable control may cause delays.
Inspect products promptly. Report visible shipping damage, shortages, or an incorrect item within 48 hours and keep the packaging, photographs, and carrier documents. This reporting period helps us pursue a carrier claim and does not reduce rights that cannot legally be limited.
Risk of loss transfers as provided by applicable law and the confirmed delivery terms. Customers are responsible for giving a safe, complete delivery address and arranging authorized receipt.
11. Installation and third-party services
Tire sales do not include installation, balancing, alignment, TPMS service, storage, or disposal unless the quote expressly includes them. Installation may be performed by an independent installation partner. When that business contracts with the customer directly, its workmanship, scheduling, pricing, facilities, insurance, and service warranty are its responsibility.
Before driving, the installer should confirm fitment, condition, rotation direction, axle placement, inflation, lug torque, TPMS operation, and clearance. Re-torque wheels at the interval recommended by the installer or vehicle manufacturer. Stop driving and seek qualified inspection if there is vibration, rubbing, pressure loss, warning lights, unusual noise, or handling change.
12. Product warranties and claims
Manufacturer warranties vary by brand, model, application, and size. Warranty claims may require the original invoice, tire inspection, photographs, DOT code, tread measurements, rotation and maintenance records, proof of correct inflation, and return of the product. Manufacturer approval, exclusions, pro-rated credits, labour coverage, freight, and replacement timing are governed by the applicable warranty.
Road hazards, impact damage, punctures, misuse, racing, improper fitment, mechanical wear, misalignment, under- or over-inflation, overloading, improper storage, and installation damage are commonly excluded unless separate coverage applies. Vektor Performance does not create a manufacturer warranty beyond the written coverage but will reasonably assist with eligible claims.
13. Performance, modified, and motorsport use
Performance parts, non-original tire sizes, stretched or aggressive fitments, competition tires, and modified-vehicle applications may affect handling, braking, ride, clearance, speedometer accuracy, wear, noise, fuel economy, insurance, warranty, and road legality. Products marked off-road or competition use must not be used on public roads where prohibited.
Motorsport and high-performance driving involve inherent risk. The customer is responsible for selecting a lawful application, obtaining professional inspection, following manufacturer limits, and never exceeding their own ability or safe conditions.
14. Website disclaimer and limits of liability
We use reasonable care but do not promise that the website, supplier feed, vehicle data, VIN decoder, fitment information, or communications will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable as the sole basis for a safety decision. Customers must verify safety-critical information before ordering or installation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vektor Performance is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss caused solely by website interruption, reliance on unverified automated data, customer-supplied errors, unauthorized installation, misuse, or events outside reasonable control. Any direct liability that may lawfully be limited will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product. These limits do not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, or rights and remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Privacy and personal information
We collect information reasonably needed to respond to requests and operate the business, including name, email, phone number, postal code, vehicle details, VIN, fitment selections, quote and order details, communications, and basic website technical data.
We use it to identify the vehicle, confirm fitment, prepare and follow up on quotes, process and support orders, coordinate pickup or shipping, prevent fraud, improve the website, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, email delivery, vehicle or VIN decoding, fitment, shipping, payments, accounting, analytics, or professional advice. They receive only the information reasonably required for their role. Some providers may process data outside Canada, where it may be subject to local law.
Mobile information: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
16. VIN data, security, retention, and access
A VIN is sent to the applicable vehicle-data provider to identify vehicle details and may be included in a quote when the customer chooses to use it. Do not submit a VIN unless authorized to use that vehicle's information.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission is completely secure. Do not send payment-card details through the quote form or ordinary email. Quote information is kept only as long as reasonably required for follow-up, records, disputes, security, and legal obligations. Completed transaction and tax records may be kept for the legally required accounting period.
To ask about, access, correct, or withdraw consent for personal information where applicable, email info@vektorperformance.ca. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful use and may prevent us from completing a request.
18. Acceptable use and intellectual property
Vektor Performance owns or is authorized to use the website design, written content, branding, and original media. Manufacturer names, marks, and product media belong to their respective owners. You may use the site for personal shopping and quote purposes but may not scrape, resell, copy, interfere with, reverse engineer, overload, or misuse it or submit false, unlawful, or harmful content.
19. Accessibility
We aim to make the website and customer service usable by people with disabilities. If you encounter a barrier or need information in another accessible format, contact us by email or phone and we will work with you to provide reasonable assistance.
20. Governing law, disputes, and severability
These policies are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to the customer. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. Nothing requires a consumer to give up access to a regulator, court, statutory cancellation right, chargeback right, or other non-waivable remedy.
If one provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver.
21. Policy changes and contact
We may update these policies as the website, suppliers, services, or law changes. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. Terms accepted for an existing confirmed order will not be changed retroactively without agreement.
Questions, complaints, cancellation requests, privacy requests, and warranty inquiries can be sent to info@vektorperformance.ca or made by calling (289) 204-4448. Include the quote, invoice, or reference number when available.
